12.08.2016

On August 11, 2016, the following meeting was held with interns from different communities represented in Kosovo, as part of the PEER 2 PEER Project.

With the aim of increasing cooperation and interaction among ethnics, esspecially between majority and minority communities in Kosovo, in total 14 interns have finished (conducter)their intership at various organizations of civil societies for six consecuent weeks.

The purpose was to discuss and exchange experiences and practices implemented during their internship at the CSO. The young Serb and Albanian community expressed that this was a new experience for many of them since previously they were unable to collaborate with other communities. Although period of practice was considered to be short time, majority of interns had managed to learn new things, and in some cases interns had agreed for further cooperation.

Participants also thanked D4D Institute and NGO CDKD and donor AKTLS, for establishing such a good cooperation opportunity.
